请问各位PepSoyGen怎么翻译啊！

各位如题，在看一外文资料的时候，见到PepSoyGen一词，我想这个合成词应该有3部分组成，Pep应该为peptide unit，Soy应该为Soybean meal ，可是Gen是否为gene的意思啊？合起来应该怎么翻译较为恰当呢？
